Greg Malcolm will perform a sound based story session for children. Beautiful melodies and nursery rhymes of the past are mixed with avant-garde sounds, while felt boards and puppets make this a fun and visually entertaining performance for children and adults alike. Through his work in early childcare centres in the Whakatane district Greg has found children are very receptive to unusual sound production techniques. His story telling approach encourages children to engage more with their everyday sound environment, and be imaginative and creative thinkers.
